Health & Voice Data
Swayu is a voice-first health companion. We process sensitive categories of data including voice recordings, dietary information, menstrual cycle data, energy levels, mood, sleep patterns, and other health-related inputs you provide. Voice recordings are processed in real time to extract health-relevant text and are not stored permanently in raw audio form. Transcribed data is stored securely and associated with your account to provide personalized insights. We treat all health-related data as sensitive personal information and apply additional safeguards including encryption at rest and in transit, strict access controls, and minimal retention periods.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information: (a) Account Information: name, email address, and password when you register; (b) Profile Information: age, gender, health goals, dietary preferences, and any conditions you voluntarily share; (c) Voice Data: voice recordings processed to extract health-relevant text (raw audio is not permanently stored); (d) Health & Wellness Data: dietary logs, nutritional information, energy levels, mood, sleep patterns, menstrual cycle data, and other health inputs; (e) Usage Data: app interactions, feature usage, session duration, and device information (device type, OS version, app version); (f) Device Information: device identifiers, IP address, browser type, and language settings; (g) Communication Data: messages you send through our support channels.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) provide, maintain, and improve the Swayu health companion experience; (b) generate personalized health insights and proactive check-ins based on your data patterns; (c) process voice inputs to create dietary and health logs; (d) send you relevant notifications, reminders, and wellness check-ins; (e) respond to your support requests and communications; (f) improve our AI models and voice recognition accuracy using anonymized, aggregated data; (g) ensure the security and integrity of our Service; (h) comply with legal obligations. We do not use your personal health data for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not sell your data to third parties.
AI-Powered Features
Swayu uses artificial intelligence to analyze your health data and provide personalized insights. Our AI processes your dietary logs, health patterns, and historical data to identify trends and offer proactive suggestions. AI-generated insights are based on general nutritional knowledge and patterns in your individual data. They are not medical advice and should not replace consultation with healthcare professionals. We continuously improve our AI models using anonymized and aggregated data. Your individual data is never shared with third parties for AI training purposes without your explicit consent.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share limited data with: (a) Service Providers: trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Service (cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing), bound by strict data protection agreements; (b) Legal Requirements: when required by law, court order, or governmental authority; (c) Safety: when necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Swayu, our users, or the public; (d) Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with prior notice to users. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active and for up to 30 days after deletion to allow for account recovery. Health and wellness data is retained while your account is active and deleted within 90 days of account deletion. Voice recordings are processed in real time and raw audio is not permanently stored. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for research and service improvement. You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time.
Children's Privacy
Swayu is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use Swayu with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@swayu.app so we can take appropriate action.
Your Rights
